    Description

    Antique Elkington Silver Plated Bucket.  This piece is probably hotel ware because of its strength and durability for use.  It is marked on the bottom with an A, co logo, 15595, and an o on the other side of the bottom.  It is marked with a C in a barrel shape that marks the year of manufacturing at 1888.  It stands approx. 7" tall and 6 1/2" in diameter at the top.  It is is very good condition with the exception of a ground out square in the silver plate, on the side and in the middle  (see pic 2).  I assume that the ground area was to eliminate a monogram or perhaps a hotel logo.  It also has a small dent and some typical wear due to a piece this age.  Please look at all of the photos carefully as they are an integral part of the description and email with any questions before bidding.  Your feedback will get mine.  Thanks!
