This is a Lionel 2065 Hudson steam engine, made 1954-1956. It features 4-6-4 wheel configuration, full valve & drive linkage, working headlight, 3 way E-unit, smoke unit, and MAGNETRACTION, for improved stability and pulling power. Boiler has nice original paint with a few touch ups. Original pellet type smoke unit works well. E-unit shifts reliably. Motor commutator & E-unit drum have been burnished clean. Motor, gears and axles cleaned and lubricated. The tender shell has a glued hairline crack at one of it's rear steps. Tender chassis is clean. Rollers have been rewired. Whistle motor commutator burnished clean. Operating coupler works fine. Nice clean whistle sound.
